The Photographic Procedure; what it involves:

The Planning Meeting (30-40 minutes) Sit back and enjoy the slideshow as we show you beautiful portraits that are relevant to your requirements. We make recommendations on appropriate clothing, props etc. We will discuss with you any ideas you may have regarding location of the shoot, combinations and certain looks or styles. An appointment time will be made for your photo shoot and viewing meeting.

The Photo Shoot (Allow 1 hour) We will take lots of photos with many different looks and poses. Please take a change of clothing if you wish, especially for children having individual shoots and remember those props – they can enhance an image.

Aim for plain classic clothing rather than ‘busy’ distracting styles that may date quickly. Consider bringing props for children like hats, dungarees, and favourite teddy bears. Hats, scarves and head- gear emphasize the eyes and make exciting portraits. Our studio has a limited selection of children’s clothing, which you are welcome to borrow. Long hair should be worn down, and makeup should be simple daywear.

The Viewing (Allow 1 hour) Enjoy, while we present your beautiful portraits on the big screen. We are able to show your portraits in black and white, colour or sepia and we explore the different ways to enhance your images to add that creative element.

This is also your opportunity to purchase. Grandparents, partners and friends are welcome and recommended to help you choose.
