Firstly a big congratulations to you all from our studio for your child/ren receiving a placing in the competition this year! Well done!

For us Photo Kids is about 2 main things: It’s about us creating beautiful portraits for you by capturing the wonder that is there in all of your children and it’s about fundraising for Cure Kids who really make a huge difference in children’s lives.
We’re happy to announce the dates for the on-line voting are:

Saturday 26^th May 9pm to Monday 4^th June 9pm.

To vote go to our website and click on the link to Photo Kids Portrait Contest. (You must vote for 1 in each category.)

You know what to do! Broadcast this far and wide via facebook, twitter, emails, etc. if you want your child to do well and move on to the Grand Final!

The following is an excerpt from a letter that we received from Cure Kids after last year’s competition which we would like to share with you.
“Cure Kids more than anything, offers families hope, hope of better treatments, of longer lives and ultimately hope of a cure. We must fund medical research to fund these life saving breakthroughs and thanks to your incredible efforts, we are able to do so.
 
Children in the 80's with leukaemia had a 30% chance of survival, today in the 2010's in many cases chances of survival are as high as 95% - and it's money and research that has changed those odds for the better.
 
Thank you for continuing to fight in our corner, we are proud to be the chosen charity of Photo Kids - a group of talented photographers that are making a real difference to Kiwi kids.”
