Hi Gerry,

I just wanted to thank you very much for the lovely family portrait you did for us. It hangs in our dining room and all our friends say what a lovely portrait it is. Just last week a visitor, looking at our portrait, said what a shame it was that they had never taken the opportunity to get the same done of their own family, who for them many members are now passed away.

For me personally however it is a real reminder of what is most important to me and it has become a symbol of the happy family life that we are trying to give to our children. It captures a time when we were starting out as a family and even though the children have grown since then it gives me pleasure every day to admire it.

Even our almost three year old looks at it frequently and talks about his family to me especially when his brother is at school or his dad is at work.
